Beginners Welcome
Beginners WILL catch trout on our McKenzie River and Santiam River trips. On our guided Rogue River fly fishing trips, newbies are likely to hook and land steelhead or salmon on a fly rod.

Young Kids & Big Fish
We have had kids as young a 7-years-old land salmon on a fly rod, and others as as young as 10 land steelhead on a fly. Beginners and experienced anglers, too, will catch more fish while learning proven techniques developed by Michael over 40+ years of guiding and university teaching.
Fly Rods, Flies, and Lunches Provided
To save you time and maximize your fish count, 3 ready-to-cast fly rods are provided for each angler, as are lunches and beverages. Just show up, and let's go fishing. All fishing is done from the comfort and safety of a drift boat, no wading required. Two flies on every leader sometimes means two fish on one cast.
